2025 Jersey 80th Anniversary of Dunkirk £2 Set of 4
 
In the summer of 1940,hope seemed lost as British soldiers were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk. But then came Operation Dynamo — a bold, miraculous evacuation that saved over 330,000 lives and ignited the enduring spirit of resistance.
 
Now, 85 years on, you can commemorate that turning point in British history with the official Dunkirk £2 Coin Collection — a powerful four-coin tribute to the efforts on land, sea, in the air, and the human spirit that defined the rescue.
 
Each of the four £2 coins in this limited-edition set captures a pivotal moment of the Dunkirk evacuation:
 
LAND – Brave soldiers holding the line against overwhelming odds, buying time for rescue.
SEA – The iconic MV Royal Daffodil and the fleet of ‘little ships’ that crossed the Channel.
AIR – Spitfires soaring overhead, defending the skies against enemy bombardment.
THE DUNKIRK SPIRIT – Troops returning home to the white cliffs of Dover, greeted by cheers and relief.
