In August 2025 the Royal Mint announced that only 170,000 of the 2025 Bees £1 coins would enter circulation making them the rarest £1 coin in circulation. This mintage figure was even lower than the 2009 Kew Gardens 50p and 2023 Atlantic Salmon 50p.
In September 2025 the Royal Mint confirmed that a further 8.84 million 2025 King Charles Bees coins would enter circulation.
This is the 'circulated' version of the coin which has been taken from a sealed bag, distributed by the Royal Mint as one of the 170,000 intended for general circulation. You will receive ONE coin. Please note that the coins are in very good condition, but show some signs/markings akin to circulated coins. If you require a coin in BUNC condition, please order the BUNC coin from our website which has been taken from a defintitive Royal Mint set.
