A Jersey £2 coin commemorating the 50th anniversary of Liberation after WW2. The Channel Islands became occupied by Nazi Germany during the war but were liberated on 9 May 1945 after VE Day when the Allied victory was declared.

Please note the production of this coin is a different design to standard bi-metallic £2 coin which has been in effect since 1997. This coin is the same size as a standard £5 coin/commemorative Crown
