2018 Gibraltar Calpe House £1 Coin
 
This coin circulated in Gibraltar only. This coin featured in the 2018 coins of the year which commemorated the opening of the new Calpe House site at Norfolk Square in London.
 
The facility provides a "home from home" for sponsored patients from Gibraltar receiving medical treatment in London and was previous based in Bayswater when since it's opening in 1991. 
 
Obverse - Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem
Reverse - depicting the New Calpe House in London with the Sun behind, inside a concentric circle. Lettering in two incomplete semi-arcs above and below, both inside and outside of the circle.
