First published in 1926, A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh has charmed generations with stories of friendship and kindness in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Now, 100 years later, the Royal Mint marks this milestone with the first coin in a new three-coin collection.

This first 50p in the series celebrates the theme of kindness featuring Winnie the Pooh in a design created with Disney.

Not to be confused with the original Royal Mint Winnie the Pooh nine-coin 50p collection released in 2020-2022.

*This coin has not been released into general circulation*
